Throughout the Years: Kindergarden

I love reading/ watching these, so I thought I would do one. I have some writing for school I should be doing, however I wanted to get some creative juices flowing.

Okay, so, in first grad i lived with my mom and my dad and my sister Coty in a town called Weldon. I ended up starting Kindergarden in Newport. On the first day of school my mother drove us, she dropped me off. I had the same kindergarden teacher as all of my siblings did; Mrs. Hagewood. I remember there was alot of different "centers" in the room. One was a sand box/thingy, there was a box full of keys, which i loved, old keys, new keys, little keys. There was a kitchen area (a play one) upstairs in a loft, and under the loft was where we kept our sleeping mats. There was a reading/ story time area where we took our naps too. I remember escaping on the first day of school, there was a "cake" building (square, where the kindergarden classes were), a doughnut building (a round building with no center, for 1-3rd grade) and a doughnut hole building (a small round building in the center of the doughnut one, where the library and elite fourth graders were). I escaped the cake building somehow, and found my way to the doughnut...i walked around and around forever, then the janitor found me, we were friends from that point on.

My best friends at that school were a blind girl, and a boy named Christopher Cross, Chris Cross. The blind girl was named Alex? or Alexa? something like that, don't forget the janitor of course...we were pals. Chris Cross was a twin his brothers name was Caleb, I think Chris Cross' name fit him, he was gender confused, i suspect. He insisted on us playing Spice Girls at recess, I had to be Sporty, because he wanted to be Baby Spice ( he would always spin, kick, then say "IM BABY SPICE AND MY MOMMAS MY BEST FRIEND! SHHHHH! with his fingers over his lips). We were quite a crew, the blind girl, the tranny-gardener, and the janitor. My sister always insisted that the blind girl was lying about being blind. I dont know why... OH! one day i was sitting with the janitor at lunch eating corn and he warned me that corn is what they fed pigs. Don't ask why he said that, he just did.

Anyways, some more things I remember....I remember always falling asleep on the bus, and one day my container of kool-aid in my lunch box spilled and it was all over me when i woke up. I also remember never sleeping at nap time, and if you were "class leader" for the day, you got to nap alone upstairs. cooool stuff.

One last thing, i remember my mother bringing me some pants to school because i wore shorts and for some reason needed pants. The bathrooms were occupied so my teacher had me change behind one of those giant easle and art pad things. lol.

xoxo
