Throughout the Years: Kindergarden

I love reading/ watching these, so I thought I would do one. I have some writing for school I should be doing, however I wanted to get some creative juices flowing.

Okay, so, in first grad i lived with my mom and my dad and my sister Coty in a town called Weldon. I ended up starting Kindergarden in Newport. On the first day of school my mother drove us, she dropped me off. I had the same kindergarden teacher as all of my siblings did; Mrs. Hagewood. I remember there was alot of different "centers" in the room. One was a sand box/thingy, there was a box full of keys, which i loved, old keys, new keys, little keys. There was a kitchen area (a play one) upstairs in a loft, and under the loft was where we kept our sleeping mats. There was a reading/ story time area where we took our naps too. I remember escaping on the first day of school, there was a "cake" building (square, where the kindergarden classes were), a doughnut building (a round building with no center, for 1-3rd grade) and a doughnut hole building (a small round building in the center of the doughnut one, where the library and elite fourth graders were). I escaped the cake building somehow, and found my way to the doughnut...i walked around and around forever, then the janitor found me, we were friends from that point on.

My best friends at that school were a blind girl, and a boy named Christopher Cross, Chris Cross. The blind girl was named Alex? or Alexa? something like that, don't forget the janitor of course...we were pals. Chris Cross was a twin his brothers name was Caleb, I think Chris Cross' name fit him, he was gender confused, i suspect. He insisted on us playing Spice Girls at recess, I had to be Sporty, because he wanted to be Baby Spice ( he would always spin, kick, then say "IM BABY SPICE AND MY MOMMAS MY BEST FRIEND! SHHHHH! with his fingers over his lips). We were quite a crew, the blind girl, the tranny-gardener, and the janitor. My sister always insisted that the blind girl was lying about being blind. I dont know why... OH! one day i was sitting with the janitor at lunch eating corn and he warned me that corn is what they fed pigs. Don't ask why he said that, he just did.

Anyways, some more things I remember....I remember always falling asleep on the bus, and one day my container of kool-aid in my lunch box spilled and it was all over me when i woke up. I also remember never sleeping at nap time, and if you were "class leader" for the day, you got to nap alone upstairs. cooool stuff.

One last thing, i remember my mother bringing me some pants to school because i wore shorts and for some reason needed pants. The bathrooms were occupied so my teacher had me change behind one of those giant easle and art pad things. lol.

Virtual Shopping Without Spending a Dime

Here are some of my favorite Polyvore looks, being a college student who recently quit her job, I dont have money to spend frivolously anymore :( oh well. Maybe soon.

i love this look, it is what I would wear on a date, if I ever went on them...cough cough hint hint. JIMMY :) anyways...

This look is wishful thinking, hence the wedding rings and the teaching stuff. Just something I would wear to work if I was a teacher, which I will be in 3 or 4 years! :) I will be oh-so-stylish.

This would be a cute outfit for running around, I love blues they look good on me especially with my eyes. Yes, that is the car I want, lol.

I LOVE THIS SET! I love the muted colors, and the vintage feel. I would wear any of those dresses to a party!!!

That is all for tonight, I really need to get in bed. I recently introduced this website to my favorite beauty blogger/vlogger CarahAmelie03. you should check her out, her polyvores are better than mine.

Slightly OCD?

Okay, so basically I think I am slightly OCD. Not all the way OCD lol, maybe I just have high standards. It's not with everything, if something has absolutely no chance of being perfect then I won't even try. If you look at my blog page, everything is very nice and neat. I try to use the same signature at the bottom; space space xoxo space space whitney. My bedroom is a prime example, I need a new headboard and want a bookshelf to match my dresser and night table, if it is setting on the floor it is white, if it's on the wall it is black. I currently have to many clothes and not enough space for anything, so basically my bedroom is shot to hell. (visually speaking, of course) Once I get my furniture situation fixed then I will probably work on it. Now that I am thinking about it, I'm not OCD, I like to clean but I do not rely on it. I just worry too much, I will print out three copies of one paper just in case I lose two of them on the walk to class. I constantly look at the program of completion plan for teaching and figure up ways to make my schedule fit perfectly. I just want things to work out, I never truly let myself relax at heart and I almost need to worry about something. Probably makes my IBS worse :/. I also want EVERYONE to like me, in all honesty I do, I just am sometimes to afraid to even try. I am shy too, not so much shy as I don't like to talk about nothing. If I have something real to contribute to the conversation I will, but I will not just yap yap yap for conversations sake. sorry, no thanks. I honestly would love to be friends with everybody, but I honestly like being with 2 or 3 people. I don't mind being alone, I'm quite used to it actually, Coty moved away, my mom works everyday, Jimmy too (we see each other when we both have the chance), I do end up spending alot of time by myself. Yeah, with the way this blog is going there is no way I am OCD. haha.

I guess that is all. I really should start reading my chapter of Dangerous Minds for my Education class I have to teach next week. fun, fun. :)

Since I cannot have a blog without a picture, here you go.

Enjoy that, he is a handsome specimen.

Things I Love

Everyone who knows me well, knows that I am an extremely habitual person. If I find a food I like, I want to eat it EVERY SINGLE DAY, if I find a song I like, I want to hear it ALL THE TIME. lol, these are a few of the things I love, in no particular order.

1. Lady Gaga, she is my all time favorite singer. The Madonna of my generation, if you will. I like her because she is so different, and she has a wonderful voice and gives herself to her art. It takes a lot of courage to do what she does.

2. Perfume. I love it. I feel so pretty when I have on perfume, my 3 favorites are Love by Harajuku Lovers, Betsey Johnson, and Pink Sugar. I also love Viva La Juicy but do not yet have it...maybe soon. I also would like Daisy by Mark Jacobs and Rock Princess by Vera Wang.

3. Red Velvet Cake, and Cupcakes. I love Red Velvet cake, it tastes soooo good, a flavor that I can't put my finger on, and it is a beautiful red color, kinda a quirky cake like me. (quirky, not cake lol). I will definitely have a red velvet wedding cake when I get married.

4. The Office, Jimmy and I's favorite show. He is the Jim to my Pam.

5. There are so many foods that I am currently obsessed with, I will list a few. Wingstop teriyaki wings, Chic-Fil-A (always), Sweet Tea, Whole Hog (another favorite of Jimmy and I), Mac N Cheese, and Lucky Charms. I know, I'm a health nut, what can I say? you just don't get a body like mine on a regular diet (hint of sarcasm? ha)

6. Kid Cudi, he is amazing. His lyrics basically explain my life (cliche, I know) If you don't listen to him then you should definatley check him out, I love him so.

7. OPI Nail Polish, great colors, great names, great brush, great quality. Need I say More?

8. Betsey Johson. My favorite designer hands down. I wish I had more money to spend on her stuff, she is amazing. Fun and girly and kinda punk sometimes, definitely eclectic.

Thats all for now folks, or my 2 followers haha. I love writing but today I'm not into spending time on my grammar and what not, please excuse it.

5 Random Factoids.

1) I have a really nervous stomach. The doctor recently told me that I have IBS. (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). It is not dangerous and very common, it just makes some things a big ole pain in the butt (no pun intended). It makes traveling a nightmare, sometimes shopping, and the first 4 or so weeks of school. It's usually brought on when I am worried, or upset in general. I wish I was better at handling it, because now I get nervous about being nervous, which makes me sick.

2) I'm in college to become a teacher, my area will be P-4, which is kindergarden through fourth grade. I really love children, I'm not much of a baby person, but kids I love. I'm currently a freshman and I am going good, I want to have a 3.0 so that I can join Kappa Delta Phi (an honors society for education majors). After college or my senior year I would like to get engaged. I want to be married to my current boyfriend of 3 years so badly. I would like to have 2-3 kids.
3) I'm obsessed with peacocks, they are my favorite animal. I would really love to have a peacock themed wedding, Peacocks are the patron bird of the Greek Goddess Hera, Zues' wife, if I'm not mistaken. Hera was the goddess of love and marriage. I just love them, my favorite colors are greens and blues and basically any jewel tones, which is what their feathers are. They are so beautiful.

4) Like I said earlier, I have a boyfriend. We have been dating for 3 years almost. I love him more than anything and anybody and would do anything for him. His name is Jimmy. He loves batman, and comics. Check out his blog JimbosComicReviews.blogspot.com . I hope we are together forever. And like I said I would like to get married to him in 2 or 3 years...hint, hint, cough cough.

5) My father passed away from a stroke when I was 7 years old. I miss him every single day and often find myself angered and jealous about other girls who have fathers. I mean, a girl needs to have a dad to be someones favorite, right? (I read that in a book). Oh well...

Anyways thats all I have to say tonight.
